The Relaunch of Pull & Bear at VivoCity

A fashion show featuring Pull & Bear’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection was held in conjunction with the relaunch of the Pull & Bear store at VivoCity.

The event was attended by a hodge-podge of people, including fashion bloggers, media, as well as shoppers, who got the invite when they shopped at Pull & Bear the week before.

Guests were treated to finger food, thumping music from a grand total of six speakers flanking the store and a 15% discount storewide for the duration of the event only.

Finally, the fashion show started. The store transformed into a runway and models emerging from the back – where the fitting rooms where, made their way to the front, stopping and posing at various platforms scattered throughout it.

Red and blue hues were featured heavily in the collection, and layering, something that would be hard to replicate for our local climate, appeared to be the key to many looks.

After the show, which lasted about 20 minutes, guests were invited to stay back to continue shopping, but the bevy of models at the photo-wall were the centre of attraction and many whipped out their cameras to snap a picture.

The hype of the fashion show certainly contributed to the success of Pull & Bear’s relaunch at VivoCity.

The Pull & Bear store at VivoCity is located at #01-28A.

About Junyi

Having graduated with a Bachelors in Arts with Honours, I traverse the fluff-covered, sometimes pretentious world of the arts, yet would like to think that I'm down to earth, doing things like sipping hot tea at kopitiams and sitting behind a desk during office hours. This website is a portfolio of the writing that I feel can be "aired in public" (and then some). I would like to one day be a journalist for all things lifestyle. Or a full time singer. Or a world-weary traveler. Or a clown. Feel free to look through and leave your thoughts.
